Professional Mural Artist
Patrick Edward Indo (b.1982), professionally known as INDO, has carved out a reputation as one of Northern NSW's most accomplished mural artist and urban street artist. Based between Sydney and the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, he has become a defining creative force in transforming ordinary public spaces into celebrated public mural art landmarks.
With a practice spanning murals, skatepark Murals, sculpture, and large-scale installations, INDO’s influence extends from the laneways of Sydney to the coastal towns of the Macleay Valley and Port Macquarie. His work is instantly recognisable: bright vivid, energetic, and layered with a narrative depth that fuses community storytelling with a contemporary aesthetic.
INDO is distinguished by his ability to transform any brief into a creative landmark—bringing energy, vision, and inspiration to everyone around him. Known for elevating client ideas into something far beyond expectation, his work consistently redefines what is possible
“When I create murals, I know it’s not just about paint on a wall—it’s about your space, your vision, and how people will feel when they walk past it every day. As an artist, of course I love the freedom of pure expression, but in a commercial setting, the wall doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to you. What inspires me is taking your ideas and translating them into something extraordinary—something that feels personal, powerful, and transformative. Knowing that I’ve created a piece that truly belongs to you and elevates your space—that’s what makes this work special, and that’s what keeps me coming back.” - INDO
INDO’s versatility sets him apart. Whether collaborating with global brands or working within grassroots initiatives,
he seamlessly adapts his approach through collaboration, team work and delivering quality work on time and on budget.
INDO's easy going positive can do attitude, enthusiasm and creative vision has set him as a valuable member to any creative project.
His portfolio includes high-profile commissions for ING Direct, ANZ Bank, the NSW Government, Samaritans, Fuel TV, Rolling Stone Magazine, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, Vegemite, Sony BMG, and SoundCloud.
Equally adept as a leader, INDO's managed complex projects in partnership with architects, and council representatives—delivering artworks that are both logistically sound and visually striking. His collaborations with councils such as Inner West, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Hornsby, and Northern Beaches have cemented his role as a trusted cultural contributor.
Among his notable achievements is Dweeb City in Enmore, created for Inner West Council’s Perfect Match Program, and the kempsey laneway project helped earn him gold recognition at the Australian Street Art Awards. He's also won live street art battles, and been nominated twice finalist for the Australian of the year awards for his creative mural work within the community.
For INDO, the mantra is simple: “Better, better, and better.” It is this relentless pursuit of growth—equal parts artistic and personal—that fuels his output. Whether working with governments, businesses, or private collectors, he brings not only bold vision but also discipline, professionalism, and a capacity to transform the everyday into the extraordinary.
